All of You is Live!!!

All of You is finally live on Amazon!

Whoo-hoo!!! ;)

Gina

Finally Did It!

I hit publish about 5.5 hours ago! They quote up to 12 hours, but I'm really hoping it's a lot sooner than that!

I'll post again when All of You officially goes live. ;)

Thanks!

Prepping for Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the day!  I'll be hitting "publish" on All of You around noon tomorrow, with Amazon hopefully putting it up by Monday morning.

I've been busy getting everything set to publish...all I have to do is hit that button tomorrow and it'll be all set!  The book has already been submitted to Kobo because they are notoriously slow in getting books online.  NOOK will be published at the same time as Kindle!

I'm really nervous, but I'm getting very excited, too.  I've gotten feedback from a few bloggers I really respect and they liked the book, so I'm allowing myself some hope that you might like it, too!

Just for your information, a print version will also be available on Amazon (my first print book, because All of Me isn't in print yet).  It's a little pricey - they made me list it at $12.49 or above because of the length, so it's $12.49.

I'll post tomorrow when I actually publish!  Yikes! ;)

100 Five Star Reviews on Amazon. ;)

Hi, everyone! Hope you're all doing well!

I posted this on Facebook earlier and the same goes for all my loyal blog followers:

"So...it came to my attention today that All of Me has 100 five star ratings. Now, I don't usually post stuff like this (because it feels pretentious and braggy and makes me uncomfortable), but I felt compelled to post this...

Because many of you have left those wonderful, kind, thoughtful, supportive reviews. You've told your friends, posted about the book on blogs and FB pages, and have been supportive of me during this entire terrifying, emotional, and amazing endeavor!

So those five stars are your five stars, as well as mine. THANK YOU! You all know how much I appreciate you, but I'm going to say it again: I really appreciate all of you!"

Nathan & Gia

For a little Father's Day fun, here's a short snippet of Nathan with Gia in All of You (Danny and Kat's story)...because you know I can never get enough of him: :)

Nathan picked Gia up off the changing table and planted a big kiss on her chubby cheek. “What’s wrong, my little angel?” he cooed, laughing when Gia stopped crying and stared at him. “There you go, my little princess.” Nathan kissed both cheeks and the tip of her nose, which made Gia giggle. “That’s better, isn’t it? Daddy always makes it all better.” He turned the Gia to face Kat. “Hi, Zia Kitty-Kat.”

Kat grinned and shifted weight to her stronger right leg. She extended her arms. “Piccolo farfalla mia! Come see your zia…” Nathan handed her Gia and Kat held her as tightly as she could, swinging back and forth. She gave Gia a squeeze. “Oh, I love this kid.” Kat shot Nathan a look. “And that’s the only reason I’m not gonna rip your face off for the ‘Kitty-Kat’ crap.”

Nathan grinned and threw a burp cloth over his shoulder. He changed out the Diaper Genie bag and kissed Gia’s head before walking out of the room.

Even after all these months, it was still so weird to see him like this: relaxed and happy. Nathan was a serious guy. To put it mildly. But this baby had turned a huge mountain of a hard-nosed cop into a puddle of mush.

“Isn’t he so adorable you could eat him with a spoon?” Stella whispered, watching Nathan walk away as she came in. “Every time I see him with her I wanna jump him.” She grinned. “And most of the time, I do.”

“Ew, Stell. Ugh.” Kat sat in the rocker and settled Gia into her lap. “Enough with the TMI, okay? You’re grossing me out.”

Stella laughed. “Sorry. But the man is too much for me to handle with all of the baby talk and changing diapers and kissing her every five seconds.” She sighed. “Those broad shoulders and huge biceps were hard enough to take before, but now seeing Gia in his arms?” Stella shivered. “I can’t get enough of him.”

Kat rolled her eyes and covered Gia’s ear with her hands. “You’re gonna scar this kid, you know that, don’t you? And me. Save the dirty talk for Fi and Gigi. Talk about eating things up with spoons.”

“That wasn’t dirty talk,” Stella said, grinning. “But if you really wanna hear some stuff-”

“God, no, Stell!” Kat positioned Gia so they were face-to-face. “Let’s change the subject, eh, Gia? From your dirty Mama to what you and Zia Kat are gonna do today.”

A fun little sneak-peek, no? :)

Just the Beginning...

Six months...

Endless tears of frustration, angry fits when they wouldn't behave, grins at their antics, more tears when *they* cried, hours upon hours at the keyboard, sleepless nights, and late (or non-existent) dinners for my poor family...

732 pins on their Pinterest board...

767 pages (more with edits)...

And I finally just wrote the ending - no, the true beginning - of Danny & Kat's story.

I could get very emotional - oh, who are we kidding, I am bawling like a baby - but I will simply say: I love and admire them both so very much and I hope, when I finally hit "publish" and you get to know them, too, you'll love them as much as I do.

Thank you for taking this incredible journey with me, for supporting me and encouraging me when I needed it the most, and - most of all - for wanting to get to know them. I hope you find them worth the wait!

The process isn't quite over, but we're almost there! Thank you, everyone!

The End is Near!

Hi! Just wanted to leave a quick update!

I have ONE more scene to write for Danny & Kat's story and then it's done! Some minor editing and it will be publish time! Whoo-hoo! (Can you tell I'm excited to share them with you?). ;) It looks like it will end up being roughly 725-750 pages. Waaaaay longer than I ever expected...I think it's safe to say I am a bit long-winded. ;)

I'll post again when more updates are available! Thanks!

Danny & Kat are coming soon! Promise! ;)

I am so sorry it's been so long since I've posted an update...I have been very busy writing a War & Peace length novel. :) All of You, Danny and Kat's story, will be published within the next month. It's at 600+ pages so far - yikes!

The depth of their connection and the intensity of their story shocked me.  I began the story believing it to be a simple boy-meets-girl-and-they-fall-in-love story, but it ended up being so much more. I hope you fall in love with them as much as I did. ❤️

I'll post more details as they become available!

Thanks and take care!

D & K Update ;)

So, I just passed page 500 (yes, FIVE HUNDRED). Slow, but steady, I am getting there!

My next blog tour will be in mid-May and I'll leave more info as I get it!

Thank you and I hope you're all doing well!

Quick Update!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while...I've given myself a deadline of April 1st to have Danny & Kat's story completed, so I've been writing like crazy!

I'm already past the 350 page mark and I'm estimating I still have 100-150 left to write! They are a complicated couple, with a lot of stuff to work through. ;)

As I've said a million times (and am saying again!), I can't wait to share it with you!!!

I ❤️ Introverts!

It's very different to write an introverted character - especially a female one. Nathan was introverted, but - let's be honest - most men don't have half of the crap going through their heads that we do.  And Stella wasn't giving him much leeway to keep things inside, anyway.

I absolutely love introverted people (Hell, I married one). And, if you're socially awkward, too? Well, that's just icing on the cake. But, damn, it's hard to get inside of those brains sometimes. And the whole thinking-before-they-speak and vigilantly-calculating-decisions-way-in-advance processes are very foreign to me. And don't get me started on needing quiet and space to think through things...

But I'm going to do my girl justice. Or lose my mind trying.

Nathan & Stella Drop By :)

I shared this on Facebook, but thought I'd post it here, too (as I'm not sure if everyone who visits the blog follows me on FB).  Anyway...

"Okay, so weird thing happened. I'm in the middle of Danny & Kat's story and then - BOOM - out of no where, Nathan and Stella are getting it on. Hard core. Of course, the events leading up to it involved Danny and Kat 's story - obviously - but then...yeah...wow...

Here's my issue. I've never read a book where the author had a scene like that (throwing back to characters from another book). I... know most people reading D & K's story will enjoy the glimpse into Nathan & Stella's continued story, but I'm not sure if that would be a disjointed thing to add in (all the way around).

If it *is* out of place, I thought maybe I could post it as an additional scene somewhere (maybe my blog?) - just for fun.

Thoughts?"

All FB friends wanted the scene left in, so that's what I'm going to do. :)  And I'm glad...visiting with Nathan and Stella again made me really happy.  I think fans of their story will love catching up with them, too!

I cannot wait to share it all with you guys!

Another Danny & Kat Update

Hi! Hope you had a great week!

I am happy to report that D & K are finally getting with the program. They fought it, but true love (and unbridled lust) always wins, right? ;) Of course, they aren't anywhere close to having it all figured out, but we're getting there!

They are maddening, but also a lot of fun (and emotional) to write about. I'm loving every minute with them - now that they've started to behave themselves, anyway. ;)

Can't wait to share it with you!

Dirty Danny

Well, this should not come as a shock to any of you, but, damn, Danny is a dirty, dirty boy. I've blushed more in the first quarter of this book than I did during all of "All of Me!"

I figured you guys would be happy to know our dirty boy is up to no good - and it's only gonna get worse (better?). ;)

Nathan & His Little Lady

Just wrote a scene with Nathan and Gia (in Danny and Kat's story) and cried the whole damn time.

Yeah, I know I'm a weirdo, but it's just that our boy has come so far!

I can't wait to share it with you guys!!!

Scandalicious Book Reviews Podcast Featured "All of Me!!!"

Hi, everyone!

I received a message on Facebook earlier in the week from a member of the Scandalicious Book Reviews team saying she had chosen "All of Me" as one of her Top 5 picks of the year.  Yes, I nearly fainted.  And I *did* cry.  A lot.

Anyway, they also chose "All of Me" as their Book of the Week and did a half an hour podcast on it last night.  Crazy, right?!

I just listened to it and...It. Was. Amazing.  (I made my husband listen to it first in case they said something awful - yes, I am HUGE wimp with thin skin).  But they were incredibly gracious with their praise and spot-on in their analyses (meaning I felt like they totally "got" Nathan, Stella, and the story).  It was incredible.

Here is a link to their site.  If you scroll down a little, you'll find a "play" arrow and you can listen to the podcast from there (if you're interested).  Their website is amazing, too...I highly recommend checking it out.  They are passionate romance readers who love discussing books.  Can't get much better than that. :)

And thank you, again, to all of YOU.  Your support means everything to me.  Thank you for visiting my blog and for being kind enough to read my ramblings. :)

Take 2 - Amazon Update

It is becoming rather clear that I am not technologically-gifted.  My initial post about the Amazon update was formatted strangely...much like the "new" version of "All of Me!"  So, let's try this again!

By now, any/all of you who downloaded the book have received an email from Amazon about updating to the newer version.  I downloaded it myself this morning to take a look...

The editing revisions look good, but there are still some spacing issues (between words, for example).  No matter what formatting tricks I try, it is apparent I haven't yet mastered the necessary skills.  I am contemplating returning to college to major in computer programming just so I can get the damn thing right!

My fervent hope is that it's "better," if not "perfect."  I am beyond grateful that most readers are very forgiving and that they seem to love the story, despite my format shortcomings. :)

I know these posts are boring and kind of a drag, but I appreciate you allowing me to vent.

Growing Pains (a/k/a Danny & Kat Falling in Love)

Well, I'm on page 40 of Danny & Kat's story and, I've gotta be honest, they are making this very difficult.  It's like trying to push two mountains together...

God, are they both stubborn.  And guarded.  It is now clear they will be fighting me tooth and nail the entire way, dammit.

Kat's a toughie.  Her unfailingly logical approach to everything coupled with her introverted nature is killing me.  When Stella said she was a tough nut to crack, she wasn't lying.  She is as guarded as a person can be - and has every intention of staying that way.

Danny is a little easier to handle because, underneath it all, he really does want to be understood, accepted, and loved.  He blows a lot of smoke and he's got a lot of issues, but it's starting to look like he might just fall first...

And I thought Nathan gave me a hard time.  Unfortunately, it appears I haven't seen anything yet!

Wish me luck.

Website Update

Website is up and running!

If you'd like, check it out at www.ginasorelle.com.  It's pretty basic, but I'm proud of it. :)

Thanks!
Gina

Ah-Freakin'-Ha!

I have *finally* achieved a small triumph over the mental maze that is Amazon publishing!

Okay, so, I was going nuts trying to figure out why, when I re-downloaded "All of Me" on my Kindle, I continued to receive the old, error-filled version. I deleted and re-installed my Kindle app and deleted the book and re-downloaded it and still...nothing. No matter what I did, I would receive the old book.

And then I dug around the Kindle help section and found out why...

In order for customers who have already purchased the book to receive the new version, the author has to contact Amazon and request those customers are notified.  Which I just did!  So, for those of you who downloaded "All of Me" a while ago, you should be receiving an email and/or a Kindle notification about gaining access to the more polished version.

I am so relieved to have figured this out.  I want every reader to have the best possible experience with the book and knowing the update is being made available goes a long way in ensuring that! :)

Once again, thank you so much for bearing with me during this craziness.  What a journey!

Website

Hi, all.  Just wanted to let you know I built (and I use that term loosely) a website.  It's www.ginasorelle.com.  I published it, but it won't be up and running for 12-18 hours.

It's a basic website, but I'm *very* proud of the click-able Amazon button. :)  It took me an hour (and my husband two seconds - ugh) to figure out to how to put a hyperlinked button on there.  Pretty snazzy!

Thank you, again (and again) for the support.  I truly appreciate EACH and EVERY reader.
