I ❤️ Introverts!

It's very different to write an introverted character - especially a female one. Nathan was introverted, but - let's be honest - most men don't have half of the crap going through their heads that we do.  And Stella wasn't giving him much leeway to keep things inside, anyway.

I absolutely love introverted people (Hell, I married one). And, if you're socially awkward, too? Well, that's just icing on the cake. But, damn, it's hard to get inside of those brains sometimes. And the whole thinking-before-they-speak and vigilantly-calculating-decisions-way-in-advance processes are very foreign to me. And don't get me started on needing quiet and space to think through things...

But I'm going to do my girl justice. Or lose my mind trying.

  1. Gina, I just found your book and I loved it - which is saying something bec I am a nit-picky PITA. I read through the other blog entries and am THRILLED that you are continuing this series with Danny & Kat, with bits of S&N. I posted my first review ever on Amazon today in response to your book. Thank you for (whether you meant to or not) crafting a more realistic romance. Though I enjoy the more fantastical stories, I have been pining for something that actually could happen in real life. You did a great job - especially since this is your first book. I went to FB and followed you, is that what I should do or should I place a friend request? I honestly don't know the difference between the two. Nothing changed when I simply clicked Follow, so I don't know if I am seeing your posts. Anyway - thanks again, and I really look forward to reading more of your work in the future!

  2. Hi! So sorry...just seeing this right now!

I am also a FB newbie and am still learning how to navigate everything. But I do know that you need to send me a friend request...or I guess I could send you one (if I knew how). :) Let me check my follower list and see if I can initiate something...
